Ausk

Ausk are large towering creatures that strongly resemble pigs from the old age with their large grimy snouts and thick yellow tinted skin.

They stand on all fours, at a height of around 20 feet, and weigh around twenty tons. They have large black eyes on either side of their bald bulbous sized head. Despite their massive build Ausk's are herbivores.

The most noticeable feature can be found on its back and on its lizard like tail (See book on old age creatures for definition on Lizard's) as they sprout enormous thick curved spikes known as tusks. These tusks are designed to impale anything that try's to ambush it,creatures can become stuck on these tusks and forever remain rotting on them, this does not bother Ausk's at all, in fact it helps ward off other creatures that seek it harm.

Ausk's travel in massive packs, a regular pack can be around fifty to seventy but it has reached even greater numbers before that have been apparently uncountable. Despite the harsh conditions of the Aeradox dessert they live in they fare very well, thanks to it's plentiful supply of Black cacti. These cacti are normally filled with deadly poison, but the stomach glands of a Ausk can easily deal with them. The juices and plant flesh are all that these giants need to thrive.

Ausk's are known to stampede when they feel threatened and will not stop many hours in till they tire themselves out or otherwise die. Any attempt to capture one whilst stampeding results in either them, or the trappers dying.
